Hello, my name is Dr. William Mackis. I'm a Canadian physician living in Edmonton, Alberta. I'm a radiologist, oncologist, as well as a cancer researcher. I've devoted the last 18 years of my life to helping thousands of cancer patients, not just in Alberta, but from around the world. During the COVID-19 pandemic, I stood up for the Hippocratic Oath to do no harm. I stood up for informed consent, for bodily autonomy, and for doing what was right. And I've paid a very heavy price for that. I've essentially lost everything. A few days ago, on December 9th, government bureaucrats working for Alberta Premier Danielle Smith filed an application in court to have me imprisoned for 83 days for protecting my cancer patients and protecting my family. I'm the first Canadian doctor to be threatened with imprisonment since the COVID-19 pandemic started. Over the past year, my family has been threatened repeatedly by Premier Danielle Smith's bureaucrats at Alberta Health Services, at the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta. And we are currently being extorted for over $100,000 in court costs and court penalties that were awarded to Alberta Health Services and the College by Justin Trudeau-appointed judges like Justice Averill Inglis. The College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta has repeatedly threatened my family, and they've even threatened us at our house. College officials have threatened my wife. They are extorting us for $50,000 and have threatened to take our house if we don't pay them. My wife filed a criminal complaint with the Edmonton Police Services in October against college officials. And shortly thereafter, the chief of police announced his resignation. However, the criminal investigation has been stalled. Effectively, it has gone nowhere. Alberta Health Services is extorting my family for $55,000 and they are demanding imprisonment if we don't pay them. They are collaborating with Premier Daniel Smith's team and they are using confidential government documents that were leaked to them by United Conservative Party staffers.

Alberta Health Services is also threatening my podcast, which I've posted on X or Twitter. I will be reaching out to Elon Musk's legal team to address the censorship attack on his platform. Elon Musk has indicated that he will help Canadian doctors who are being censored and silenced for posts made on X or Twitter. Honestly, folks, I've never raised funds before and I've been fighting corruption in Alberta's healthcare system for nine years. But this time I'm against an extremely powerful and well-funded bureaucratic mafia that wants to destroy my family and wants to throw me in prison and they will not stop. I can't fight them alone. I need your help and that's why I'm launching this Gifts and Go. I want to thank all of you who've shown me incredible support. I want to thank all of you who flooded Premier Daniel Smith's office with emails, who flooded her office with phone calls. This has been an international scandal for Premier Daniel Smith and just an absolute embarrassment. Recently, Premier Smith has tried to gain favor from U.S. President Donald Trump, promising that she will finally secure the Canadian border. Yet, simultaneously, she's allowing the ongoing persecution of doctors, nurses, and other ethical healthcare workers in her province. Dr. Jordan Peterson, who was persecuted by his medical board in Ontario, even supported Premier Daniel Smith in her election because she promised that she would clean up the corrupt medical boards and the colleges and that she would dissolve them and that she would do what's right for ethical healthcare workers. She has not kept her promise. And Dr. Jordan Peterson has been forced to leave Canada to the United States. I fled communist Czechoslovakia in 1988. I fled communism. I came to Canada. I became a Canadian citizen. I love Canada. I love this country. And I don't want to see it fall. I don't want to see it fall to the woke mafia or to leftists who are essentially communists. The United States will be taking on their corrupt bureaucracies. And it's time that Canada does the same. I want to thank you all for your incredible support.
